Welcome to Guinea Pig Fun's webcam currently featuring Jenni and Angelina. When Jenni was picked up her caretaker indicated that she had "resolved glaucoma" which, unfortunately, was not the case. My vets discovered that she had glaucoma so her eye was removed after she arrived at GPF. Also, even though she had a negative result for a fungal test prior to my receiving her, I had her re-tested for ringworm after she arrived and the results were positive. Apparently her former vet had wanted her started on a ringworm medication but that never occurred. Once she received the oral anti-fungal medication that the vet had suggested, her hair grew back. Angelina shared her cage with another female who was adopted from GPF. However, the other female is more dominate and she kept harassing Angelina and kept her away from the food. She ended up with lip and mouth sores (because she was fed bread and too many apples which she loved) which were successfully treated. She now resides at GPF with Jenni since her caretaker is moving back to her home in Belgium.
